First entry

Hello teacher good morning My name is Selena López and Dalí Saldarriaga Our presentation will be about the comparisons of Denmark and Colombia. 

Denmark 

Danish culture values ​​equality, simplicity and community, with famous design, literature, theater and music. Although they do not have traditional dance styles, they enjoy dancing at social events. They are affable, have subtle humor and are very familiar. Civility and respect are important, with formal greetings and an emphasis on good behavior. Second entry our experience 

For us it has been a good experience since we have learned about the different countries we chose and the variety that exists in different parts of the world has been very interesting.

The country that we chose as one of the best among the 4, is Denmark since as a result of the comparisons made, we were able to realize that it is a country whose inhabitants are very affectionate, family-oriented and, above all, they are very educated people and mainly respect any rule.

Thailand vs France

Meal:

Thailand: Thai food is known for its unique combination of flavors, including spicy, sweet, sour and salty. Popular dishes include Thai curry, pad Thai, tom yum soup and spring rolls.





France: French cuisine is considered some of the best in the world, with sophisticated dishes such as coq au vin, bouillabaisse, foie gras and croissants. Wine and cheese are an integral part of French food.






Culture:

Thailand: Thailand has a rich culture influenced by Buddhism, with impressive temples, colorful festivals, and a strong tradition of respect for family and monarchy.

France: France is known for its art, architecture, fashion and gastronomy. Paris, the capital, is famous for its museums such as the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. French culture values art, literature and philosophy.





Dance:

Thailand: Traditional Thai dance, such as khon dance and fingernail dance, is often performed at festivals and cultural events. These dances are usually elegant and accompanied by live music.


France:  I
n France, ballet is a highly regarded art form, with the Paris National Opera Ballet one of the most prestigious companies in the world. Additionally, France has a rich tradition of folk dance, such as the bourrée and the can-can.

Colombia vs Denmark:

Meal:

Colombia: Colombian food is varied and colorful, with typical dishes such as tumba paisa, arepa, sancocho and ajiaco. Many dishes include rice, beans, meat and plantain.

Denmark: Danish cuisine focuses on fresh fish, such as herring, and dairy products. Traditional dishes include smørrebrød (open sandwiches), frikadeller (meatballs) and smørkage (butter cake).

Colombia: Colombia has a diverse and colorful culture, influenced by its indigenous, African and Spanish peoples. Music, dance and art are integral parts of Colombian life.

Denmark: Danish culture values equality, simplicity and community. Danish design is famous throughout the world, and literature, theater and music are appreciated.





Dance:

Colombia: In Colombia, salsa, vallenato and cumbia are some of the most popular musical genres. Colombian dances are happy and full of energy, with fast movements and turns.


Denmark: Although Denmark does not have traditional dance styles as distinctive as Colombia, people enjoy dancing in clubs and social events, to music ranging from pop to electronic.

Se investigarán las costumbres y la etiqueta de cada país, para poder hacer una comparación de cada uno y llegar a la conclusión de cuál nos gustó más.

Elegimos estos países porque tienen culturas muy diferentes e interesantes.


Francia

Generalidades y buenos modales en Francia

Francia es conocida en todo el mundo por tres cosas, principalmente:

- Su famosa cocina francesa: exquisita, vanguardista y selecta

- La elegancia de su moda, que marca tendencia en todo el planeta.

- La fama de que los franceses son gente que tiene "modales muy refinados". Normas de cortesía que se han 'impuesto' durante siglos.

Saludos y presentaciones en Francia. 

Aunque es correcto dar la mano en una primera cita o presentación, no debería sorprendernos demasiado que nos den uno o más besos en la mejilla.



Tailandia 

Saludos

El saludo tailandés se llama wai. Las personas se saludan presionando las palmas de las manos como si estuvieran rezando y haciendo una leve reverencia.

Partes del cuerpo

La mayoría de las siguientes costumbres son comunes en muchos países del sudeste asiático. Por ejemplo, señalar con el dedo a alguien se considera extremadamente grosero, un rotundo no. Los tailandeses suelen señalar con la barbilla.

Visitar a alguien

Títulos y nombres 
Cuando las personas se presentan en Colombia, generalmente dicen su nombre o apellido, seguido de “encantado de conocerte” o “encantado de conocerte”.

Señor. o señora

El "señor o señora" es parte de la cultura colombiana, cumple casi la misma función que "don o doña" es uno de los modales más utilizados.

Usos y Costumbres.

La cortesía es clave en Colombia. Decir “hola, por favor y gracias” es un gesto fundamental en cualquier interacción. 

•En Colombia es común que alguien le abra la puerta a la persona que está detrás de usted. Se espera que este gesto de bondad sea correspondido.

• El uso de apodos como 'monos' o 'gringos' para los extranjeros blancos es común en Colombia. Son expresiones informales que no deben tomarse como ofensivas.

Dinamarca  

Generalidades y buenos modales en Dinamarca

Los daneses son gente bastante afable, bondadosa y conversadora. Los daneses son felices y tienen un gran sentido del humor, un humor muy sutil. Los chistes y bromas ingeniosas son bastante habituales en su entorno y en las conversaciones.

Los daneses también son muy familiares. Les encanta estar en familia y realizar actividades en familia.

Civismo y respeto ante todo.

El civismo y la buena educación son una de las mayores virtudes de este país y de sus ciudadanos, así como de los demás países escandinavos. Si regresas a tu hotel a las diez de la noche y no hay nadie en la calle, pero estás a punto de cruzar, no pienses en hacerlo con el semáforo en rojo, aunque no veas un coche. por millas a la redonda. My experience at the Centro Vacacional Centenario hotel of the National Police located in Santa Marta, I stayed 2 nights, the hotel had 3 rooms, which each had double beds, had a pool, and included breakfast, cleaning service, included Wi-Fi.
